Review: Lush's 'Feeling Secure' make up.

Well, I love purple. In all shapes and forms and Lush have a new range of make up: Emotional Brilliance... whilst working as a christmas temp there was talks of this and they had already introduced a tint for the skin which was amazing. And now, there is make up, all sorts! Lip-stick, eye make up, mascara! All 100% animal cruelty free, and in a suprisingly amazing range of colours.

So, here is me, reviewing some eye make up... in, guess what colour?

Purple.

Not only is it purple, but in has a cute label. This particular shade is "Feeling Secure" and they can call it whatever they want in my opinion as the style of the bottle means that you can see what colour it is straight away. This saves people always opening products in store to have a nosey inside... HOWEVER, Lush also pride themselves on having testers of everything in store and for the make up there is no exception. They even have applicators so you can try it out and a mirror so if you actually want to put it on your face (rather than on the back of your hand, what help is that?) then you can do.

From reading other blogs, some people have said that the style of the container is to "medical" but I disagree! I love that it is simple, no nonsense, know what you are getting and I actually like the idea of being an apothecary of colour!

A bit about the product itself: it is purple, with a blue undertone and also a pink undertone. I would actually call this colour amaranth (like my car) which I love so much!

This is it actually on my eyes, I wore it as an extra line around my usual make up and also dabbed it with my finger to make eyeshadow.

I shall add some more looks as I do them.

My review:
A really good product, good consistancy, applies really well as a line and 'dabs' well. Very durable as well, I wore it for over 12 hours and it didn't move. Very vibrant. The applicator itself could be made more sturdy but once pressed back into the lid it was fine and did it's job. Wearing it also shows just how far cosmetics have come and show that you don't need to test on animals to have amazing results. A little bit also goes a long long way!

Highly recommend!!!

Can be purchased here!

Some other products I reccomend from Lush:
Sweetie pie shower jelly, Blackberry bath bomb, Space girl bath bomb, Ladyboy perfume (solid) (but are sold as spray or solid for those who are allergic to the alcohol in spray perfume).
